Childrens Day Celebrations at KCDS

We had a busy time celebrating Children’s Day yesterday with 2 outreach programs and a poster competition for interns and students in college.

A team of faculty, postgraduate students and interns from the Department of Pediatrics and Preventive Dentistry visited GHPS Kodagalahatti, and conducted various entertainment and creative activities, with the enthusiastic participation of all the kids. Children were distributed colours and competed in a painting competition. The top 15 paintings received prizes. This was accompanied by the distribution of attractive gifts, prizes and healthy snacks to the children.

The Department of Public Health Dentistry also conducted an outreach program for the kids of Vihaan School on the occasion of Childrens Day.
This was followed by a Poster Competition for the Interns in the Department of Pediatrics and Preventive Dentistry on various related topics that was given on the spot. It brought out the child in everyone and we indeed had a Happy Children’s Day with smiles all around.
