Fellowship Program

Highlights:
  • Implantology Program in association with Nobel Biocare India Private Limited consisting of 3 modules, spread over 6 months.
  • Each module will be of 3 days each, summing up to a total of 9 days.
  • Includes Live demonstrations of implant placements and Exposure to advanced surgical procedures like sinus lift techniques, ridge augmentation, guided bone regeneration, ridge splits and CBCT guided implant placements, including management of complications.
  • Each participant will place 4 implants under the guidance of experienced teaching faculty and Nobel Biocare India Mentors.

Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences is engaged in research field of dental implants and dental prosthetics. Implants course is the part of Rajiv Gandhi University of Applied Sciences education program. The programs and curriculum offered by the faculty adhere to norms prescribed by the Dental Council of India. The curriculum offered, is research oriented and helps post graduates students to develop critical thinking abilities and learn practical skills for a smooth transition to outside world. Our department is a fully equipped department with state of art infrastructure and highly experienced faculty offering their knowledge and skills.

Students of training courses are blessed with preclinical foundations and varied clinical exposure along with patient management skills. Exposure to advanced surgical procedures like sinus lift techniques, ridge augmentation, guided bone regeneration, ridge splits and CBCT guided implant placements, including management of complications.

Our Institution provides 6 months Implantology Program for In-house, post graduates and interns. Our association and mutual support with, Nobel Biocare India Private Limited has proven out to be qualitatively beneficial and highly illuminating. Nobel Biocare India Private limited supports in conducting the course for the Post Graduates and interns batch, with Mentors of the highest repute and qualifications.

The course consists of 3 modules, each module will be of 3 days each, summing up to 9 days spread over 6 months. During the course each participant will place 4 implants under the guidance of Institution teaching faculty and Nobel Biocare Indian Mentors. This program includes live demonstrations of implant placements and other accompanied adjuncts. Our college provides infrastructure support including audiovisual equipment and other dental materials required by the individuals participating in the module.

Our Department of Implantology consists of two well-equipped dental chairs with audiovisual attachments and assisted cameras. We are facilitated with all advanced materials and machineries.

In our implants department, we encourage validated, self-directed, independent study and technical skills development through systematic stimulation laboratories. We believe in administering students with empirical and transformative learning with immense knowledge and skills.
