As a part of the Jal Shakti Abhiyan, under the NSS Banner, interns from the Department of Public Health Dentistry undertook an awareness building initiative on the topic of water conservation, with the help of a model demonstrating rainwater harvesting. Presently, India captures only eight percent of its annual rainfall, among the lowest in the world. The clock is ticking towards ‘day zero’ rapidly and we must make a collective effort to stop it.
