On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology mobilized the students of 3rd year BDS and interns for the performance of a skit highlighting the causes,symptoms, treatment and prevention of various types of cancer to the patients at the OPD. As oral health professionals, we at KCDS recognise that our commitment to act will lead to powerful progress in reducing the global impact of cancer. The theme for World Cancer Day

– ‘I Am and I Will’ is an empowering call-to-action urging for personal commitment and represents the power of individual action taken now to impact the future, a future that will hopefully be cancer free.
