The Department of Public Health Dentistry believes in inclusive health, and hence, in collaboration with Vitor Health conducted a screening program for our support staff, with screening tests that included blood sugar, blood pressure, hemoglobin levels, ECG and obesity markers among others, along with a dental screening.
Those who were screened received their printed health report and were advised on the findings.
Dr. Zahar, Quality Control Officer, Vitor HEALTH Sciences, and a KCDS alumni, had previously conducted a 2 day training and certification program for the postgraduate students of the Dept of Public Health Dentistry and Oral Medicine in performing these screening tests.
Our appreciation to Dr. Murali for his foresight and efforts in incorporating this much needed value added element to our screening program for the benefit of our support staff.
We also thank Dr. Ponnanna, our Principal, for his support and backing which made this unique screening program possible.
