The Department of Public Health Dentistry in association with PHC, Bettahalsur facilitated the true experience of a Public Health program for our KCDS interns who volunteered for The National Polio Immunisation programme that began on Sunday, 31 January 2021. Around 17 crore children of less than 5 years of age will be given polio drops as part of the drive of Government of India to sustain polio free status of the country. The countrywide drive is supported by about 24 lakh volunteers and we are happy to be a part of this large scale immunization drive, contributing our bit, by administering polio drops to about 300 children.
