New Hues of Blues Scrubs for Undergraduates

As we turn the pages of the calendar to a new month, KCDS is sporting new hues of blue keeping up with the current world that we live in. We must evolve and adapt, even as we continue to provide quality oral health care to individuals and populations.

With most of us at KCDS are fully vaccinated, here are some facts about COVID vaccinations that could be helpful to know.

  1. COVID-19 vaccines have been shown to be substantially effective at preventing COVID-19.
  2. Getting a COVID-19 vaccine may also help keep you from getting seriously ill even if you do get COVID-19
  3. Getting vaccinated yourself may also protect people around you, particularly people at increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19.
  4. People are considered fully vaccinated , 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series.

There are still many unanswered questions about COVID 19 and research goes on unabated till we have more clarity.

Until then, we must continue to follow guidelines as issued by regulatory authorities and practice precautions when we are in public places, gatherings with unvaccinated people, and avoid crowds.

We must still watch out for symptoms of Covid 19 and get ourselves tested, if we have them.
Here’s to hoping we are one step closer to a COVID free world.
