Bachelor of Dental Sciences is a 5 year program, first three years of which includes training in general medical subjects along with basic pre-clinical dentistry followed by annual university examinations. The final year includes training in clinical dentistry. Eligible students who successfully clear the university examinations are required to complete one year ofcompulsory rotatory internship in all departments.
- Minimum qualification PUC 2nd year/12thStd/Equivalent Examination with English one of the languages mandatory
- Declared as qualified in NEET based on NEET Score and Neet Percentile
- Minimum of 50% as aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Biology *(40% for SC/ST/OBC/category candidates & 45% for Physically disabled Candidates)
- The SC/ST/OBC/category candidates eligibility criteria is applicable for Karnataka origin candidates only
- State of the art, digital classrooms with AV aids.
- Anatomy Dissection Hall & General Pathology labs with sufficient specimens.
- Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Pharmacology departments with modern laboratory equipment
- Preclinical departments allowing a smooth transition into the clinical years.
- General medicine & General surgery departments with hospital postings at Yelahanka Government Hospital.
- Rotatory Postings in individual department clinics for training in Patient Care.
