With a lot of school dental camps, inter-departmental discussions, vast variety of cases, KCDS has constructed a framework of confidence to help us handle cases independently after completing the course.

I consider it a great privilege that I was given the opportunity to study in the department of periodontology in KCDS. The sojourn I embarked upon was fueled by the unflinching support of my teachers and beloved institution. I consider myself blessed to have learnt under the foremost and best teachers in the field. It is rare in today's society to find a niche where personal and professional growth are encouraged, recognized and appreciated. This is one such place and I shall forever be grateful and proud that I am an alumni of the department of periodontics and of KCDS.

"I had lost the hope of getting into a beautiful college in Bangalore after visiting the college which was allotted to me in the first round of CET counselling, but then I visited KCDS after someone suggested it. And the minute I stepped into the campus I knew this is it. The greenery, the tranquillity away from City's chaos made me change the preference list of colleges in the Second round and that’s how I landed myself at KCDS. And KCDS never let me regret that decision. In my journey of transformation from a not very confident young girl to a doctor who received a gold medal from The President of India, KCDS and its staff played a huge role.  KCDS principal & staff for me were not merely lecturers, they were mentors, ushers and even counsellors at difficult times.  Organising events, participating in cultural and sports competitions, getting the opportunity to form close friendships with like minded people, it was all one would dream and hope of doing in their college life and more. Along with the staff and friends, the post graduate students also need a mention here for they were always there for me when I needed academic help.
